Sabre Jet Flies at Planes of Fame

J.R. Alley – F-86 Sabre Pilots Association President.
Gil Hasler – F-86 Sabre Pilot fought MiGs in Korea.

Casey Finnegan – F-86 Sabre Pilot over Russia.
Vernon Hodges – F-86 Sabre Pilot in Korea with 335th.


WHAT:     
We present eyewitness accounts facilitated by a discussion panel of experts and a flight demonstration featuring the F-86 Sabre.
Members are entered into a raffle for a flight in the Birddog.  This F-86 Sabre is additionally flown in formation with the USAF’s most modern jets for their HERITAGE FLIGHT air show team demos!

Our ongoing commitment to educate and inspire current and future generations by providing a venue for our Veterans to share their experiences with the public.

On the first Saturday of every month Planes of Fame Air Museum, a 501(c)(3), hosts a Living History Flying Day featuring an historically significant aircraft from our rare and unique WWII collection.  We present an expert panel discussion culminating in a flight demonstration.  Planes of Fame restores, displays, and flies historic.
