The Aviators Recruitment Drive
The PBS Campaign
Later this month The Aviators will be travelling to Austin, TX to promote the series to PBS station managers and program directors from all 356 stations at the PBS General Meeting.
The Aviators will be distributed to all 356 affiliates this September and it is expected that many of them will begin airing the series right away while many others will find a time slot for the series over the following few months.
Our goal for Austin is to ensure that all station managers and program directors (1) know what The Aviators is about, (2) know when it will be available to them, and (3) to let them know that our army of fans wants them to run the series sooner than later in their respective markets.
The show has already been premiered to a PBS audience at the PBS Technical Conference last month in Las Vegas, NV where the show was reported to be "the hit of the conference" so we already have a very good head start!
So, Here's the Plan
Starting next month, we need to make sure that the very smart folks at PBS know that they have a ready-made audience for The Aviators. We will be asking you, our fans, to contact your local PBS stations to make sure that they know in no uncertain terms that YOU WANT THE AVIATORS!
Quite simply, the greater the number of emails PBS receives, the greater the impact we make in delivering our message. This increases the chances of you seeing The Aviators on your local PBS channel when it premieres this September!
Help Us Assemble The Aviators Army
Email your friends... post flyers at your flight school, local airport, school, or workplace... chat on Internet forums... spread the word. Help us grow The Aviators Update List!
Our recent promotional visit to Sun 'N Fun was a huge success with the creation of thousands and thousands of new and eager Aviators fans but we have just one more month to add thousands more and for that we need your help.
Don't forget, if one of the new list members win a pair of Scheyden's... that would make you as their referrer a winner of a pair of Scheyden's too!

Broadcaster Updates
With all this talk about PBS we don't want to leave out Canada's Global Television Network and western Canada's CHEK-TV. Both are eager to begin broadcasting The Aviators in September. We can't wait either!
News from our distributor just back from a successful trip to Cannes, France for the MIPTV television festival is that interest in The Aviators has been shown by broadcasters in Europe and Asia. Discussions are under way with a broadcaster in France and back at home with additional television channels in both the United States and Canada.
