Schedule :: Oceana Air Show from http://www.oceanaairshow.com/
Due to the show being later in the year and with the risk of cooler temperatures, it was decided that we would not have a Twilight Air Show on Friday, October 16th. The Twilight Air Show is certainly one of our personal favorites and you can bet it’ll be back on the schedule for 2010. But don’t take Friday off your air show calendar yet! We’d like to cordially invite you to the NAS Oceana Officer’s Club for the first ever Air Show Oktoberfest! The party starts at 5pm and will include live music by Exploding Sun, drink specials, authentic German beverages and Bratwurst for sale and an opportunity to meet the air show performers, the Canadian Snow Birds and the US Navy Blue Angels!

Europe Trip #26: IWM Duxford - 7 - Another Hanger A from Rodney's Aviation Ramblings by Rodney
After the American Hanger I headed for another hanger with a different set of aircraft in it. In the case, they were mainly RAF operated aircraft from World War Two onwards. I say mainly RAF operated aircraft because it also includes a genuine Messerschmitt BF109E! This one crashed during the war, and is preserved and displayed pretty much as it was when it came to grief! Awesome :-)

Europe Trip #27: IWM Duxford - 8 - Another Hanger B from Rodney's Aviation Ramblings by Rodney
More iconic aircraft! Clearly, not all of these were operated by the RAF, but they are all in their own way special - from a prop anti-submarine Gannet to a MiG! A MiG in an English museum??? That's pretty cool! Ok, it's pretty cool for a kiwi lad from the other side of the world!

Europe Trip #28: IWM Duxford - 9 - Another Hanger C from Rodney's Aviation Ramblings by Rodney
Ok, the final series from this hanger, and one of these is bound to surprise :-)
