I did a double-take when I heard, but all 5 of the TBM Avengers from "Flight 19" have been found in, of all places, the Sonora Desert! The icing on the cake is that the airplanes are reported to be intact and still have fuel on board. Of course, no crew remains have been found.

I've written before about how I love it when airlines celebrate their heritage, and Hawaiian really did something special for their 80th anniversary - they found their original aircraft from 1929, restored it, and brought it back to Hawaii!
