Local Museum Lands New World War II Plane By Brett Crandall, Local News 8 Reporter
The 600 horsepower T-6 Texan warbird is the newest member of the Legacy Flight Museum's fleet of World War II era aircrafts.
"Whatever fighter it was, they flew them," said plane care taker, Brad DeBow.  "It would have been the last plane that they tried in before going into the fighter."
All of the planes in the Legacy Flight Museum are air worthy including the new T-6 Texan warbird used in World War II.
The museum spent quite a bit of time and money to refurbish the 60 plus year old engine and give it a new paint job.
"We're pretty proud of this plane," said DeBow.  "We've put a lot of effort into it." ...
