APRIL SPEAKERS

April 10th - Saturday at 11 am:  Former B-25 bomber pilot, Lt. Col Wagner (Ret) US Air Force talks about his combat missionsB25 2 followed by a flight demo of the museum's B-25 "Wild Cargo".  Regular museum admission prices.

April 24th - Saturday at 11am:  Retired RAF test pilot, Stan Hubbard, to speak about his experiences during WWII, flying the Hurricane, Spitfire and Mosquito.  He also has one of the first verified UFO sightings.   Immediately following will be a Spitfire flight demo.

WARBIRDS OVER THE BEACH 2010 

Mark your calendars:  Saturday, May 22nd and Sunday, May 23rd will be the second annual Military Aviation Museum's spectacular air display of its WWII fighter and bomber planes!  You only get the chance to see them all flying together - once a year.  The weekend will also be filled with:
  • Live Entertainment such as The Victory Belles, Theresa Eamon, Frank Sings Frank, and much more.
  • WWII Reenactment Camps -  Hundreds of reenactors will descend upon the museum, setting up their camps and living the life of a WWII soldier.  Stop by each encampment to talk with them and see their camps.
  • Talk with a World War II vet during meet and greet sessions both days.
  • Specialty Food and Retail vendors.
  • Saturday night will offer a steak dinner - purchase your tickets for this dinner in advance, it sells out.
  • Hangar Dance Saturday night featuring the big band sounds of  - Super Band.

AVRO 504K to arrive in May

After a few years in restoration the AVRO will finally be making its appearance to the museum in May, adding to the extensive collection of restored fighter planes.  To get a sneak peak - click here.


Volunteer Opportunities

The museum is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3), and largely dependent on volunteers to give tours, help with events and many other duties.  If you would like to learn more about volunteering, come to the:
