Adilson Kindlemann had a joyful reunion on Friday with the Red Bull Air Race rescue crew that so quickly plucked him out of the Swan River on Thursday and said he can't wait to get back into the cockpit. The Brazilian pilot said he was feeling fine after the low-level accident in training that left him upside down under water in the Swan River.
"Thank you very much," Kindlemann said with a big smile as he embraced Jeff Williams, a diver who quickly got him out of his cockpit and into the rescue boat. Kindlemann also hugged the other members of the rescue crew at the reunion on the banks of the Swan River after Friday's final training sessions.  ...

Aviation organizations to host fly-in breakfast - The Exponent
Students and area pilots will get the chance to eat a $100 pancake breakfast Saturday at the Purdue University Airport Fly-In/Drive-In.
Several aviation student groups are organizing the 7 a.m. to noon event, including Purdue Pilots, Inc.
The group's vice president, Michael Reddy, said, "We have a term in general aviation called the '$100 hamburger' where someone would fly to an airport, get lunch and then fly home. For this event, I would consider it the '$100 pancake breakfast.'"
Despite the term, the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is only $6 for adults and $3 for children. Proceeds go toward the various student groups holding the event.
