A variety of interactive programs will take place throughout the museum during this free family-friendly event. Click here for event details. | Dinner with the Doolittle Raiders Tickets available beginning March 1 | A limited number of tickets for a dinner with the Doolittle Tokyo Raiders during their 68th reunion will go on sale to the public at 9 a.m. on March 1. The dinner, which will be held on Friday, April 16 in the museum's Modern Flight Gallery, will begin with cocktails at 6 p.m. and seating for dinner at 7 p.m. The cost is $65 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased by obtaining an order form online, by calling (937) 904-9881 or in person at the museum's information desk. | Participate in education programs Registration opens for Home School Day, summer camps | Registration is now open for the Spring Home School Day on April 12 and the Aerospace Camps, which are offered throughout the summer. Mnozil Brass is a contemporary brass septet with a combination of amazing brass virtuosity, singing and quirky humor. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert is open to the public. Click here for more information about the concert. | Free family event set for March 20 Celebrate spring with kites | Watch fascinating demonstrations of the incredible art of indoor kite flying and build and fly your own kite during this month's Family Day from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 20. Activities include indoor kite flying demonstrations, hands-on stations to learn about the properties of air and flying, the opportunity to sit in an actual B-2 ejection seat and try on a real parachute, building and flying kites and storytime. Ramon Colon-Lopez will present "Lessons learned on the Global War on Terror, from the Perspective of a Special Tactics Pararescueman" at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31 in the museum's Carney Auditorium. He is featured in the museum's "Warrior Airmen" exhibit for his role in missions to capture or kill high value targets directly related to the recent terrorist attacks on U.S. soil and abroad. | 'Airmen in a World at War' expanded Addition features Mexican Air Force | The Mexican Air Force is highlighted in a new portion of the "Airmen in a World at War" exhibit in the Air Power Gallery. This new addition, illustrating Mexico's commitment to the Allied cause during World War II, contains representations of both dress and flight uniforms worn by the Mexican Air Force during the war, a duplicate of the original battle flag carried by the Mexican Expeditionary Air Force and original Mexican pilot wings and rank. EscuadrĂ³n 201 remains the only military unit in the history of Mexico to engage in combat outside of its national borders. Click here for more information about this exhibit. | Featured exhibit of the month Winged Angels: USAAF Flight Nurses in WWII | In honor of Women's History Month, this month's featured exhibit focuses on flight nurses during World War II. The war forced the U.S. Army Air Forces to revolutionize military medical care through the development of air evacuation and flight nurses. Throughout the war, about 500 Army nurses served as members of 31 medical air evacuation transport squadrons operating worldwide. This exhibit, which opens March 3 in the Air Power Gallery, shares the story of flight nurses during WWII, highlighting such women as 2nd Lt. Elsie S. Ott, 1st Lt. Suella Bernard, 1st Lt. Aleda E.
