I had been 'posted' toGermany in December of 1946 to join up with number 3 (fighter) squadron. This was at a time when the squadron were flying Tempast V on a daily basis and coded 'J5'. One of the more familiar routines of our aircraft, was the air and ground firing practices in the Lubeck area. During Febuary-March of 1947, we did an exchange with the USAAF.
