Flight Line Internet Radio™ Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary of Radio Station Launch

Flight Line Internet Radio™ passes a milestone, achieving over 600,000 unique web site visits in the first year of existence.

Flight Line Radio launched Flight Line Internet Radio™ (FLiR), the worlds first "Aviation Radio Station", on October 1st, 2008 .

"We have primarily grown by word-of-mouth" says FLiR Marketing Director Don Costanza . Don continues, "We get e-mails on a daily basis telling us how people found us through a friend, and that it is about time somebody created something like this". "With the level of growth we have seen, Flight Line Internet Radio has tapped into the audiences' desire to hear a myriad of aviation-related topics available on their computer 24/7 while at work, in the hangar or even FBO."

Flight Line Internet Radiotm is a new and unique approach to radio programming. FLiR is not just talk radio, it is full-service radio station designed for an affinity group instead of an age group or geographical audience.

"We designed Flight Line Internet Radio to be the background for the aviation enthusiast. We put together a mixture of aviation-related talk segments, unique programming and music to entertain just about anyone that loves flight," according to Jamie Till , Flight Line Radio Technical Director.

Flight Line Internet Radiotm continues to add new segments such as the internationally acclaimed and ever popular Warbird Beer Show. There are also daily top-of-the-hour updates regarding all things related to "aero-tainment" from the Indy Transponder, and at the bottom of the hour there are regular updates from General Aviation News providing interesting details on all aspects of aviation. Due to the rapid growth of Flight Line Internet Radiotm, there are many new contributors which the global audience will soon be able to hear.

Flight Line Internet Radiotm is the world's only 24/7aviation radio station that caters to aviation enthusiasts and features news, information and entertainment from a myriad of sources within the community. The station has a global reach, with various topical segments that will entertain almost anyone that enjoys flight. The radio station follows a general format of a traditional radio station, mixing topical segments with music and normal radio commercials. The concept is to attract listeners because of their hobby or passion instead of their geographical location.
