WHAT: Media are invited to cover one of the nation's premier historical aviation events that will bring the excitement and adrenaline of World War I air power to the National Museum of the United States Air Force.
A special media availability will take place on Sept. 24th at 2 p.m. Media will be able to see some of the planes as they arrive and land on the museum's back field for the event (weather-permitting), and/or interview some of the pilots as they assemble their planes.

Museum to open additional gate for WWI Dawn Patrol Rendezvous from National Museum of the USAF Top Stories
To better accommodate visitors attending the WWI Dawn Patrol Rendezvous, the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force will open an additional gate at the event site, Sept. 25-27.
The gate, known as the "Spinning Road Gate," is located at the intersection of Airway and Spinning Roads, and will lead visitors directly to the event. For safety purposes when exiting through the Spinning Road Gate, visitors will only be permitted to make a right-hand turn onto Airway Road.
Visitors may also reach the event site by coming in the main museum gate on Springfield Street and following the signs that lead to the event area.
