Those who have experienced a hot air balloon flight know full well the exhilaration and excitement this endeavour can generate. Soon, in conjunction with the Wide Bay Australia International Airshow, residents and visitors alike will be able to undertake this exceptional form of safe flying for the very first time right here in Bundaberg.
Between Thursday 2nd July and Sunday 5th July a few lucky passengers will be up up and away for approximately one hour for a scenic hot air balloon flight complete with commemorative flight certificate and a restaurant champagne breakfast.
The narrow window of early morning opportunity means that bookings will be strictly on a first come basis. Bundaberg raised Graeme Day has been operating these flights from the Ipswich & the Scenic rim region, just 30 minutes west of Brisbane CBD and is coming home so locals can experience the pure magic of a hot air balloon flight right over their own backyards.
Total programme time from pick up to return is three to four hours and passenger numbers are obviously very limited.
Graeme’s company, Floating Images, has received many accolades and is a multi award winner in tourism and business innovation. His flights have been featured on Channel 7 “150 Must Do’s in Queensland” and other shows.
Bookings or further information can be had direct from Ruth & Graeme Day on 07 3294 8770 or from their website http://www.floatingimages.com.au/ Further information on the Airshow is on the website at http://www.widebayairshow.com.au/
