via IndyStar.com

Starting today, you can get your hands on tickets to the 13th annual Indianapolis Air Show at Marsh and United Package Liquors stores.

The 2009 IAS at Mount Comfort Airport, featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, is set for June 5, 6 and 7.

General admission tickets for the air show are $20 for adults and $10 for kids, if you buy them at the gate. However, if you purchase them ahead of time at a Marsh or United Package Liquors, you'll save $3 on an adult ticket and $2 on a child's. And if you have a Marsh Fresh Idea card -- the savings is even greater. You'll get an additional $1 off of each ticket bought at their grocery stores.

Discounted IAS tickets are also on sale through the charity event's website, www.indyairshow.com.

Joining the Blue Angels, the Navy's highly-regarded flight demonstration team, in the IAS line-up are the U.S. Army Golden Knights, the U.S. Marines MV-22 Osprey and additional military and civilian aircraft.

Also confirmed is the American Icon Tour -- the first-ever visit by this group of P-51 Mustangs to Central Indiana. More details on this exciting new addition to the Air Show, including how to purchase rides, will be released soon.

Matt Chapman, sponsored by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Lucas Oil's Mike Wiskus will be bringing their high-flying skills to the event, as well.

Be sure to check out the IAS website, www.indyairshow.com, for the latest information on what you can expect at this year's Air Show.

Net proceeds from the Indianapolis Air Show go to the Central Indiana Community Foundation.
