I landed it at Merced and I got clearance to taxi back for take off. As I taxied back the sun was shining on the back of the propeller and I suddenly remembered my dream. This was just like in my dream. It was the most eerie experience.

... This beautiful airplane is the result of the "Paint The Plane" contest that the airline sponsored to help celebrate Alaska's 50th year as a state. The winner of the extensive design contest was chosen on January 3, 2009, the 50th anniversary for Alaska statehood.
And, as I covered in an earlier post, the winner was Hannah Hamberg, a 16 year old from Sitka. In my opinion, her design, and the theme of "We're All Pulling Together" is absolutely fantastic! What a breath of fresh air in a world that seems to get more polluted everyday... and I'm not talking ecology here. ...
