James Hooppaw – Ret. USAF Col. SAC, B-47 and B-52 “Arc Light” pilot and instructor. Author of Where the Buf Fellows Roamed.
Ovidio Pugnale - Ret. USAF Col. SAC, B-52 “Arc Light” pilot and instructor. Career events also include Cuban Missile Crisis.
Richard Heitman – Ret. USAF Lt. Col. SAC, B-47 and B-52 pilot and instructor. Flew 179 “Arc Light” missions.
Lee Northrop – 475th Fighter Group historian and memorabiliacollection custodian
Jack Olson – 475th Fighter Group P-38 Lightning combat pilot.
Thomas Oxford – 475th Fighter Group P-38 Lightning combat pilot.
WHAT: We present eyewitness accounts facilitated by a discussion panel of experts and a flight demonstration featuring our P-38 Lightning. Members are entered into a raffle for a flight in our Stearman following the presentation.

WHY:Our ongoing commitment to educate and inspire by providing a venue for our Veterans to share their experiences with the public.
On the first Saturday of every month Planes of Fame Air Museum, a 501(c)(3), hosts a Living History Flying Day featuring an historically significant aircraft from our rare and unique WWII collection. We present an expert panel discussion culminating in a flight demonstration. Planes of Fame restores, displays, and flies aircraft current and future generations.
