Wings of Dreams Fly-in Breakfast This Saturday, June 5th!

Saturday, June 5, 2010: The First Wings of Dreams Monthly Fly-In Breakfast at Keystone Heights Airport (42J). A delicious breakfast buffet by Cowboyz Catering of Gainesville will be served to benefit the Wings of Dreams Aviation Museum. Scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, hash browns, grits, biscuits, fruit. $7 per person, Serving from 8 to 11 a.m. There will be a program and display to commemorate D-Day.   • Wings of Dreams will be open to public midsummer at its temporary location at Keystone Heights Airport. More details will follow regarding the days and hours of operation.
  • Last week, the Wings of Dreams Aviation Museum received confirmation that it will be the recipient of NASA Space Shuttle Program Guidance Navigation Simulator (GNS), following the last Space Shuttle mission. Wing of Dreams will use the simulator and other Space Shuttle Program artifacts in an aerospace education program and exhibit and to commemorate the history of Space Shuttle Program.
  • World famous aviator and air racer Jimmy Leewardextended strong support to the Wings of Dreams Aviation Museum at Keystone Heights Airport with a long-term loan of a rare MIG-17 LIM5 transonic jet fighter from his private aircraft collection.
