DAYTON, OHIO-- World-renowned aerobatic performer and unlimited aerobatic champion, Greg Poe,will give Miami Valley youth the chance of a lifetime, that of flying with him in his Ethanol-Powered MX2 show plane. Greg Poe's "Elevate Your Life" program is off to a roaring start with the goal of reaching out to over 10,000 kids this year during the 2010 air show season. The program is designed to help kids reach their dreams and to see the potential in themselves and hopefully the passion to keep away from drugs and other negative influences that can wreck their future.
Poe's "Elevate Your Life" program, the action arm of the Ryan J. Poe Foundation, is a youth outreach program designed to share Greg’s amazing story of hard work and accomplishment with middle school aged children all over North America. The exciting and nationally recognized program came about as a result of losing his son Ryan to heroin addiction in August, 2002. Greg gives children of all ages the encouragement to dream, not daydream, but to go after life with energy and sincerity. His talk gives youth something to take away...smiles, laughter, hope, some of life's stark realities and a lot of encouragement. Poe inspires his audiences to find something they love to allow themselves to dream, to set goals, and to reach for the sky.
