Aviation Day 2010 by Van | Aviation Day at the Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum was June 12, 2010. Aviation Day 2010 was commemorating the 1910 Aviation Meet that was held on Rancho Dominguez grounds 100 years ago. Over 3,400 people attended, making it a great success. They began planning for the event two years ago. I started interning at the museum last September, when I sent out dozens of Centennial grant proposals to various companies across Southern California.

BAF Beauvechain airshow 3-6-2010 blog/report. from Gary Watson's Posts - Stick and Rudder by Gary Watson | Minutes before I left for the 'pick-up' point at Luton airport, to meet Clive and co, of Globemaster aviation tours, I had a 'text' from 'stickandrudder' Dennis, informing me that the 'Flying Bulls' P-38 was now 'scrubbed' from the show. The two Fairchilds were low on fuel as we were all fighting a head wind on the long leg from Aberdeen. Ted "Scooter" Davis was in the Travel Air 4000 below my left wing, dipping up and down over the farms and playing in the fields all morning, but now I noticed he had pulled up to our altitude and moved in closer…
