Hometown Service Members Scheduled to Participate at 2010 Vectren Dayton Air Show

More Than 22 Locals Return to Appear at Show

Dayton, Ohio – The U.S. Navy Blue Angels and other performers will be roaring into Dayton
this week but for some of the performers the trip to Dayton will be extra special because
they will be in front of the hometown crowd. More than 22 pilots or crew members with
local ties will be participating in the 2010 Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger.
The show takes to the skies July 17th and 18th at the Dayton International Airport. Local
connections this year include:

Headlining this year’s Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger are the US Navy Blue Angels, who will appear with aerobatic legends Sean D. Tucker and the AeroShell Aerobatic Team along with newcomers Pirated Skies Wing-walking, Greg Poe, Team Fastrax skydiving and School Time, the Jet-Powered School Bus. The show will also celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the legendary WWII B-17 bomber with a dramatic bombing reenactment complete with pyrotechnics. The USAF F-16 Fighting Falcon and US Navy F-18 Super Hornet Demonstrations are also part of this year’s star-powered lineup.
