Frustration with the rainy weather is building in Oshkosh, where tens of thousands are expected to arrive this weekend for EAA AirVenture.
"The term Oshkosh is known to pilots from all around the world for the event as the Mecca of aviation," EAA spokesman Dick Knapinski said.
But EAA hasn't been traditionally known for unusually muddy surroundings.
"This is unique because all the rains came in July and they've come in fairly rapid order, so it's not just a lot of water but a lot of water quickly," Knapinski said.
