PARIS HOTEL REDUCES CONVENTION HOTEL SLEEPING ROOM RATE

After considerable negotiations over many months, ICAS has secured an additional discount on the hotel sleeping room rate at the Paris Hotel for December 6, 7, 8 and 9. The new rate is $99 and will be automatically changed for those ICAS members who have already made their convention hotel reservations. The original rate of $117 will still apply on the weekend nights of Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5. The new rate will only be available to ICAS members until October 9. Thereafter, the rate will go back up to the original $117 rate on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

“The struggling economy is putting additional financial pressure on all of our members,” said ICAS President John Cudahy. “We’ve held the line on registration fees and booth prices, and now we’ve even convinced the hotel to lower the sleeping room rates for our convention delegates. By making the convention a bit more affordable, we hope that even more members will be able to join us in Las Vegas this December.”

Painted in the colors of the Tuskegee Airmen squadron, the aircraft’s $1 million restoration was completed just in time for the red-tailed Mustang to make a late July trip to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for EAA AirVenture, where it appeared on static display in AeroShell Square for a full week.
