Eslick remembered as a 'super individual' - Sioux Falls Argus Leader
The Sioux Falls pilot of a plane that crashed Sunday near Tea, killing him and a passenger, is remembered as a "super individual." Todd Eslick, an Iowa native, was a Vanguard Squadron pilot and was flying a Vanguard plane at the time of the crash. "He's a super individual, very intelligent, very good pilot, bubbling with talent. He was a super individual, second seat to nobody," said Gary Kuhns, fellow Vanguard pilot who led the team. The group flew at the Sioux Falls Airshow this summer and dazzled crowds by flying just feet apart. They are fueled with ethanol.
