Tentative Show Time Schedule from Windsor International Air Show by Century of Flight
We have drafted up a show performance schedule. This schedule WILL BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE right up until the show begins. Due to weather, mechanical and other problems out of our control there is no guarantee the performer will go on as scheduled, however we will do our best.
The Sunday show only will have the OPP Golden Helmets performing on the runways at YQG. There will also be aircraft leaving during the day which makes them part of the show and extends the performance.
The aircraft buffs know that is a perfect day to catch departure pictures of the aircraft.
Please be patient coming into the airport with traffic. Free shuttle buses will be running but not on specified schedules. They will do a bump and run service which is when they are full they move.
It's going to be an awesome show ...

Update Mig 27 'Flogger' Newark UK by Gary Watson
Today, I started re-painting the other side if the Mig 27 at Newark. Got most of it done due to good hot weather today. Spoke to some very nice people who visited the museum, which included a couple who it turns out, were at Leeuwarden in 2006 to see the 'Blue Angels' on the same tour bus with me. Wow, what a show that was. Turns out they are going to Kleine Brogal with a Lincolnshire tour outfit in mini-buses. Be nice to see them there. Also some ...

Paper Brain & Thinking Beyond the Checklist from Jetwhine by Scott Spangler
In situations of information overload it's easy to overlook or forget important things as the mind struggles to focus and make sense of it all. In the air, pilots rely on checklists and standardized procedures, and on the ground, as a reporter I rely on my notebook, a paper brain, if you will.
After any event of information overload, like EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, I review my notes and list key topics on the back cover. More important than making it easier to find information should I need it in the future, it's a double check to ensure something hasn't fallen into the cracks between short-term and long-term memory and the desire to share what I've learned with others. ...
