PFLUGERVILLE, TX – January 8, 2011 – LiveAirShowTV kicks off 2011 with a return to coverage of the 2010 Reno Air Races. During race week, we spent time with several of the racers to get an inside look as to how they got to where they are now, and what it’s like competing in this unique event.
Will Whiteside, pilot for Race #5 Voodoo, is no stranger to the Reno Air Races. Will talks about the modifications done to this P-51, his own Reno racer, and the steps he made to find himself in the cockpit of this Unlimited Gold contender. We also go on board as Will experienced engine trouble during Saturday’s Gold race. See how he got the plane down safely.
Special thanks to Air Transport World (www.atwonline) for their support of LiveAirShowTV’s coverage of the 2010 Reno Air Races. Also, thanks to Jason Schillereff and Team Voodoo for the on-board footage during the races.

LiveAirShowTV has much more in store for air show fans during this off-season. Stories that are in the works are a feature on the Commemorative Air Force’s B-29 FIFI, Reno Racers John Penney and his daughter Heather Penney, and a look back at the legendary Lyle Shelton. Keep up with LiveAirShowTV on our Facebook Fan Page, and on Twitter.
