WW2 Women Spitfire Pilots - ATA from Pilots of America Message Board 
There's a show on the BBC about the women pilots in the ATA. The women's group within ATA was organized to use female pilots to transport planes during WW2. I guess it was the model for our WAAC. It's on the BBC but we can't get the whole show here in the states - at least I can't. I did find a 10 minute version on youtube. Here's a link. It looks like a great program.

The park has acquired a Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star to honor Glasgow native and Western Kentucky University graduate Gen. Russell Dougherty.
