| A Jan. 16 presentation with Amelia Earhart researcher David Bowman looks at all sides of one of the greatest mysteries in aviation history--the disappearance of pilot Amelia Earhart and navigator Fred Noonan during their famous attempt to circumnavigate the Earth. Auburn resident Bowman is the author of "Legerdemain," a comprehensive look at various theories about Earhart's disappearance. The presentation is at 2 p.m. in the William M. Allen Theater and is free to Museum members or with admission to the Museum. A question and answer session and book signing will follow the program. On Sunday, Jan. 17, join Museum docents for a Tip-to-Tail tour of the Museum's Red Barn. Tours are at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Have you ever wondered what it is like to be an astronaut? Here is your chance! A public mission in the Museum's Challenger Learning Center will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23. Program for participants ages 10 and up. Participants under age 16 require adult supervision. Program fee is $10/participant (non-participating adults are free.) Please call 206.764.1384 to register at least five days in advance. Don't forget! Hops & Props will be held on Saturday, April 24 from 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $55 for Museum members, $70 for general admission and $30 for designated drivers.
