In an exclusive video interview, Super Sport champion Jon Sharp talks to LiveAirShowTV’s Mark Allen

Since 1999, the field of restored aircraft has grown for the National Aviation Heritage Invitational. What started out as a handful of planes on the east end of the ramp at Stead Field has turned into one of the aviation showcases during race week. This year over 35 aircraft are slated to be in display and available for judging to see who’s name will be placed on the Rolls-Royce Heritage Trophy which is displayed at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia. Several returning aircraft will join the field, along with many new planes to the event. The first group of planes is shown in a Preview story now posted on the LiveAirShowTV home page. Fans will see many General Aviation aircraft, as well as a collection of Vietnam era examples. A second Heritage Trophy preview will be posted just prior to race week.
LiveAirShowTV’s coverage begins with a report posted Wednesday night, September 14. Fans will get their first look at who’s in and who’s out, and who’s making news at this year’s races. The 48th annual Reno National Championship Air Races will be an exciting week for all, and LiveAirShowTV will be there to give fans the “Inside Story”. Mobile updates will be posted all week.
