2010 Wings Over Houston Air Show Recap

NOVEMBER 8, 2010PFLUGERVILLE, TXLiveAirShowTV has posted its recap of the 2010 Wings Over Houston air show at Ellington Field.  It was a busy weekend of flying that included Debby Rihn-Harvey, John Klatt, Julie Clark, Sean D. Tucker, military and war bird demonstrations, and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.  Low clouds and brisk winds altered a few of the early acts, but the skies cleared by the afternoon so that the Thunderbirds could fly a “High Show”.

Also on display were several aircraft from NASAs Johnson Space Center which can be seen just across the tree line.  The Super Guppy, the Shuttle Transport 747, a Gulfstream II landing trainer, and the new Space Exploration Vehicle drew large crowds.

“This is a great late season air show in Texas”, said Jeff Lee, LiveAirShowTV President.  “Bill Roach and his team always assemble the best aerobatic performers and feature the American Military Airpower Demonstration in the middle of the day.”  A capacity crowd was treated to the full complement of Tora Tora Tora complete with pyrotechnics.  A formation from a C-47 and C-17, plus a Navy Heritage flight made this show a hit.
