Reno Air Races Live Broadcast Cancelled
SEPTEMBER 6, 2010 – PFLUGERVILLE, TX It is with deep regret that LiveAirShowTV announces that the anticipated live Internet broadcast of the Reno National Championship Air Races will not take place in 2010. “We made history last year and had a worldwide response to the Sunday Finals broadcast”, said LiveAirShowTV President, Jeff Lee. “We were looking forward to expanding our coverage and bringing the races to the many race fans around the world. However, in the current economic climate, the level of sponsorship needed to make it possible never developed.”
Ken Perich, LiveAirShowTV vice-president said, “Raising sponsorship money has been extremely challenging this year on all fronts. Many of the events that we have been involved in have been scaled back. We are disappointed for the global fans that anticipated seeing it live at home, since they can’t make it out to Reno.”
However, LiveAirShowTV will still have an important presence at Reno during race week, covering the races and participants. Watch for some race coverage as well as interviews and the interesting stories that always happen during the week. These stories can be seen at www.Livestream.com/LiveAirShowTV and on the web site for Air Transport World: http://atwonline.com/. LiveAirShowTV wishes to thank Air Transport World for their sponsorship of our Reno coverage this year.

LASTV will begin its Reno 2010 coverage with a preview of the 12th Annual National Aviation Heritage Invitational planes prior to race week. This two-part story will highlight all of the participants planning to attend and be judged as they compete for the coveted Rolls-Royce Heritage Trophy.
Plans continue for highlight coverage of other air shows as the 2010 air show season winds down. Efforts are already underway to secure the sponsorship needed for a full schedule of air shows in 2011.
