Cleveland National Air Show 2010 - Cleveland - 09/04/10 from FenceCheck Forums

Torontoist from Steve Kupferman
After being canceled due to high winds on Saturday, the Canadian International Air Show went off as planned on Sunday.
Danny Robson, an older man wearing a Blue Angels baseball cap, was standing on a pier next to the Billy Bishop Airport ferry ramp, amidst a crowd of perhaps fifty other people (families, couples, and the odd lone curiosity-seeker). He was gazing at distant planes through a pair of binoculars. ...

2010 Canadian International Air Show by Staff
Saturday's extreme weather caused the cancellation of the first day  of the 2010 Canadian International Air Show after only one plane took flight for eager crowds. Show organizers were pleased to see a much calmer Sunday forecast, which meant that the pilots were able to take to the skies and strut their stuff.

Marion Fly-In/Cruise-In 2010 - Warbirds and Airshows
This was the 20th edition of this event as a fundraiser for the Marion High School Marching Band and was another great success as in the past with several great warbirds.  The high cross winds kept the number of fly-in aircraft to a minimum but as you can see a good selection of warbirds turned out to support the event in spite of the weather.

Waynesville OH Airshow 2010 - Warbirds and Airshows
Discovery is good when one finds an air show in the local area that has been going on for 12 years previous and one didn't know about it.  The 13th Annual Red Stewart Airfield Airshow south-west of Dayton, OH was a great family event with lots of homegrown aerobatics for everyone and the first one I have been to.  I only discovered it earlier in the week of the event in searching for a show relatively close to home that would have some warbirds flying.  This event fit the requirements with WWII era Boeing Stearman and North American T-6 trainers flying aerobatic and wing walking routines.  The show was free to the public and had an excellent old time airshow feel will a grass field and lots of varied aerobatics routines.

LAA sticks to the basics from Unicom
The 'It's not the LAA Rally' took place last weekend and I have to say it was a great little event.
With something like 800 aircraft flying in and three marquees of trade stands the event managed to combine a social event with a show that didn't take itself too seriously. ...

Dragonfly, A Personal Helicopter Powered By Rockets from Aviation Blogs
A personal helicopter powered by rockets.  That sounds awesome, right?  I mean, that’s like the same level as predator robots created by aliens who happen to be zombies dreaming a dream within a dream.  The Dragonfly’s description, of course, sounds much more menacing than it actually is – not that it isn’t a pretty special rotorcraft all on its own. ...
