WHO: MICHAEL O’LEARY - Editor and photographer for WARBIRDS and AIR CLASSICS magazines. Michael will discuss Seversky air racers and the Bendix Trophy. MIKE MACHAT - Aviation artist and writer, formerly the editor for WINGS and AIRPOWER  magazines, current editor and author for Specialty Press Aviation Publications. Mike will discuss how Seversky Aircraft became Republic Aviation.

WHAT: Our discussion panel will include a slideshow presentation, question and answer period, and opportunity for photo and book signing followed by a flight demonstration of our Seversky! Member’s raffle flight in the L-19 Birddog.

WHEN: Saturday, October 2, 2010; 10:00 am – 12:00 p.m.; 12 noon: AT-12 Seversky Guardsman flight demonstration.
