P-38 Gathering
Over the weekend of September 11-12, the California Capital Airshow in Sacramento, California made history bringing together four of the seven remaining P-38's left flying in the world. Although a fifth P-38, "23 Skidoo" was en route for the gathering, she suffered engine trouble and diverted to Fresno, CA for repairs. The four P-38's participating were "Glacier Girl" flown by Steve Hinton, "Ruff Stuff" with Rob Ator, "Honey Bunny" piloted by Jeff Harris and "Thoughts of Midnight" flown by Kevin Eldridge.
