XCOR flew its rocket plane 7 times in one day last Wednesday and pushed Mojave to the top in manned rocket vehicle flights : XCOR flights help Mojave log over half of this century’s manned rocket vehicle flights: Series of flights this week by XCOR Aerospace Puts Spaceport over the Top - XCOR - Oct.6.08. They also demonstrated rapid refueling : “We have refueled the kerosene, liquid oxygen, and helium pressure tanks in under eight and a half minutes, which is less time than many people spend just filling their car up at the local gas station.” I'll note also that since the engine fires several times per flight, I'm guessing the total firings on it must be around 500 hundred by now.
