MEDIA ALERT - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW GENERAL ELECTRIC VIDEO CELEBRATES INNOVATION AT EAA AIRVENTURE OSHKOSH

Six-minute video is the main feature at
www.ge.com

EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wis. - (Sept. 23, 2008) - The innovation on display at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2008 has grabbed the attention of one of the world's largest technology companies, as General Electric has premiered a six-minute video featuring the sights, sounds and people of Oshkosh as the primary destination at the
www.ge.com website.

The video, produced during this year's event (July 28-August 3) at Wittman Regional Airport, highlights the innovation and passion for flight found throughout the grounds at EAA AirVenture. General Electric and Airbus brought their advanced engineering teams to Oshkosh this year on what they called an "innovation treasure hunt" to discover more of the ideas and imagination that have been hallmarks of EAA members for more than 50 years.

"Some of the world's top companies, such as General Electric and Airbus, are discovering what EAA members have known all along - there is no better gathering or showcase of what's possible in the world of flight than right here, along the flight line at EAA AirVenture," said Tom Poberezny, EAA president and AirVenture chairman. "This group could choose any location or event in the world, but they specifically came to Oshkosh to spark their own imaginations to what might be possible in the commercial aircraft of the future."

The video is available as the primary feature on the
www.ge.com website through October 24.

EAA embodies the spirit of aviation through the world's most engaged community of aviation enthusiasts. EAA's 170,000 members and 1,000 local chapters enjoy the fun and camaraderie of sharing their passion for flying, building and restoring recreational aircraft.
