More Raptors for Indy, NASCAR Style

“More horsepower than the starting line-up of the Indy 500”. How many times have you heard that at an Air Show? Well, imagine F-22s on the grid!”

Four USAF F-22 Raptors will arrive at Indianapolis International Airport (KIND) in preparation for the Fly-Over of Sunday’s 15th annual Allstate 400 at the Brickyard . The Fly-Over occurs during the singing of the National Anthem which immediately precedes the race scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm EST (1600z) and will be broadcast live on ESPN.
