“More horsepower than the starting line-up of the Indy 500”. How many times have you heard that at an Air Show? Well, imagine F-22s on the grid!”
Four USAF F-22 Raptors will arrive at Indianapolis International Airport (KIND) in preparation for the Fly-Over of Sunday’s 15th annual Allstate 400 at the Brickyard . The Fly-Over occurs during the singing of the National Anthem which immediately precedes the race scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm EST (1600z) and will be broadcast live on ESPN.
The F-22 Raptor is also one of the feature performers of the 2008 Indianapolis Air Show August 22-24. You can find continuously updated details at www.IndyAirShow.com.
