Dear Air Show Fan and Supporter:
Good weather and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will greet you this weekend at the 2008 Cleveland National Air Show presented by Discount Drug Mart - Saturday, Sunday and Monday at Burke Lakefront Airport in downtown Cleveland.
We're thrilled to be hosting the Navy's precision jet team, which isn't scheduled to fly within a few hundred miles of here this year. They make a great finale to cap off each day of five-plus hours of flying.

The on-the-ground aviation amusement park will be packed too - with one of the world's largest planes, the C-5 Galaxy, and its modern predecessor, C-17, plus the mid-air refueling plane, KC-135 on the tarmac plus 40 more planes, activities and interaction.
Advance general admission tickets still can be purchased at Discount Drug Mart locations-save $2 off gate admission. General admission adults are $21, children ages 6-11 are $14 and children 5 and younger are free.
Box seating will be available on-site for a $10 upgrade to your general admission ticket. Once inside the gate, you can go to an upgrade booth to purchase a seat.
On-site parking is available for $12 per car. RVs are NOT permitted on-site.

And wear your aviation garb with pride - a lucky Air Show fan will be selected as "Fan of the Day" and given a special gift certificate to Gillespie's Map Room - and have their name announced as "Air Show Fan of the Day." An Air Show staff member will be on the look out all three days.
Scheduling note:The same acts are scheduled to fly all three days-with the flying starting about 10:45 a.m. Saturday and Monday, and about 10 a.m. Sunday.
