Thanks to
Embraer for their support of our scholarship fund.

What do half of our pilots who trained at Purdue University in 2012 have in common?
They are now enrolled in aviation career training programs. Congratulations to Tyrell Rhodes, Devon Radloff and Wesley Major.

  Our thanks to
Perrone Aerospace for being a founding sponsor of Able Flight in 2006.

Every Able Flight pilot studies for their knowledge test with an online course generously donated by our friends at King Schools.

TRAINING IS NOW UNDERWAY AT PURDUE
This year's Able Flight student pilots are completing their second week of training and are quickly building hours towards their pilot certificates. By the end of the first week the group of five had totaled over 50 hours of flight instruction and more than 40 hours of ground instruction.
Even with less than ideal weather conditions, Dennis Akins, Young Choi, Warren Cleary, Deirdre Dacy and Andrew Kinard have been maintaining a full schedule;  providing a real test of the adapted Sky Arrows used for training.
Our thanks to flight instructors Tim Gleeson, Jared Kuhn, Nick Losande, Abe McCollough and Matt Paczolt, professor Bernie Wulle and volunteer program coordinator Wesley Major for helping our scholarship recipients live their dream.
