RED BULL AEROBATIC PILOT,
MOTORCYCLE STUNT RIDERS
TO ENTERTAIN FANS AT RED BULL INDIANAPOLIS GP
INDIANAPOLIS, Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011 - World-renowned Red Bull aerobatic and air race pilot Kirby Chambliss and Red Bull motorcycle stunt riders Geoff Aaron and Aaron Colton will provide thrilling pre-race entertainment before the world's best motorcycle racers race Sunday, Aug. 28 at the Red Bull Indianapolis GP at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Chambliss will fly his Zivko Edge 540 airplane during his air show performance at 1:15 p.m. over the Brickyard Crossing Golf Course, featuring a variety of stalls, rolls and loops that have thrilled fans for years. Chambliss is a five-time U.S. National Aerobatic Champion and has won numerous individual and team silver and bronze medals at the FAI World Aerobatic Championships. He is also a two-time Red Bull Air Race World Champion.
Also on hand to entertain fans on Race Morning will be 10-time AMA National Trials champion Aaron, who will perform at 10:05 a.m., 11:50 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Vendor Marketplace located in the IMS infield just east of Gasoline Alley.
Aaron will ride his motorcycle over a variety of ramps and obstacles, in addition to performing wheelies and other tricks. Named the AMA Amateur Athlete of the Year and AMA Sports Athlete of the Year in 2000, Aaron was named the AMA Sports Athlete of the Year for the second time in 2006.
The tricks will be taken to even greater levels when streetbike freestyler extraordinaire Colton performs at 10:15 a.m. on the front straightaway at IMS.
Colton will complete a variety of wheelies on his front and back tires, in addition to a number of other stunts on his bike. Colton has won a number of high-profile competitions during his career, including the 2008 XDL Indy GP Individual Freestyle and the 2008 Starboyz Stuntfest Individual Freestyle.

The 2011 Red Bull Indianapolis GP is scheduled for Aug. 26-28 at IMS.
Race Day general admission tickets cost $40, with Friday general admission $10 and Saturday general admission $20. A three-day general admission ticket is $60. A Friday-Saturday general admission ticket is $25.
Children ages 12 and under will be admitted free any of the three days of the event when accompanied by an adult with a general admission ticket.
Race Day reserved seat prices will start at $70.
