Hungary puts eight MiG-29 for sale - Cavok [translated] | The Hungarian Defence Ministry has just put on sale eight of its 24 MiG-29 fighters to help the government to raise funds to keep the remaining aircraft. Applicants must submit proposals for the purchase of eight aircraft and 20 engines, until September 15. The sale will be conducted through a public auction in October of that year. Hungary received 28 MiG-29 in 1993, supersonic fighter jets made in Russia, as compensation for the debt to Russia.
