NYC FIREFIGHTER 9/11 FIRST RESPONDER RECEIVES ABLE FLIGHT'S FIRST CAREER SCHOLARSHIP

Paul Lampasso receives award from Cessna President Jack Pelton at Sun 'n Fun

After being injured fighting a fire in Queens, NY, Paul Lampasso was on reduced duty when he responded to the attacks on the Twin Towers. Soon Paul was forced to retire with a medical disability.

As the first recipient of an Able Flight Career Training scholarship, it's Paul's plan to turn this opportunity into a career that allows him to no longer depend on disability income.

Paul received his official scholarship letter from Cessna President Jack Pelton in a March 29th ceremony at Sun 'n Fun. Cessna is a long term premier sponsor of Able Flight. Learn more here...

KEVIN CROMBIE  SELECTED TO TRAIN AT PURDUE
Kevin Crombie's dream of becoming a pilot was born from flights with his father, but paralysis caused by a virus when he was only nine months old put that dream beyond reach.
Now Kevin has been selected for a full Able Flight Scholarship and will train at Purdue University this summer to earn his license.
