The Key West International Airport in Florida is having their first ever Southernmost Openhouse & Aviation Review (SOAR) on Saturday, February 5th, 2011. Admission is free and gates are open from 9 AM to 4 PM. This family-friendly aviation event is being produced by a new 501(c)3, not for profit called Friends of the Airport. SOAR Key West will include static display aircraft to explore, airplane rides to be experienced (free to kids ages 8-17), aviation exhibits and merchandise booths to enjoy, food & beverage vendors to savor, and access to the new terminal. Vendor booth spaces are still available as well as sponsorship opportunities. Please note SOAR is not an air show nor a fly-in.
