Thrills expected at air show - The West Milford Messenger | WEST MILFORD — Pack up the family and head over to the Greenwood Lake Airport this weekend for the fifth annual Greenwood Lake Air Show. The festivities begin on Friday and continue through Sunday with headliner Kirby Chambliss, a five-time U.S. national aerobatic champion leading the way. Chambliss is a two-time Red Bull Air Race World Champion. Justin Lewis will fly the FLS Microjet, which is listed in the Guiness Book of World Records as the world's smallest jet. The Alabama Boys Comedy Team with Greg Koontz will land his Piper J3 Cub on a truck. Koontz will also perform aerobatics in his Extreme Decathlon. The Iron Eagle Aerobatics team fly two high performance biplanes in perfect unison. A very rare P51-C model Mustang will perform fly bys on Saturday and Sunday. Gary Ward, Kevin Russo and the Northeast Raiders Russian Warbird team round out the lineup....
