Skip Stewart- Bill Barber Award 2013 Video - Alabama Aviator - Aviation News | Aerobatic performer Skip Stewart, EAA 864349, of Wheeling, West Virginia, received the 2013 Bill Barber Award for Showmanship by World Airshow News on Tuesday evening during AirVenture at Theater in the Woods. Skip joins a growing list of honorees that reads like an air show hall of fame. Many of those latest honorees attended the ceremony MC’d by “Mr. Hollywood” Danny Clisham. Current 2012 award recipient, Matt Younkin also participated in Skip’s award....

A Different Air & Water Show On Tap - Chicagoist | ... But the show does go on. While many air shows were simply cancelled in the wake of losing many of their most popular performers, Chicago scrambled to add new acts to fill out the schedule for the 55th annual show. As in past years, the 2013 Air & Water Show will take place both Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at North Avenue Beach. As always, it's open to the public and free to attend.
