Warbirds Plan To Return To Topeka - WIBW | TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)__ The Gathering of Warbirds and Legends air show ended their event Sunday afternoon, but plan to bring the event back next year. Organizers tell 13 News that the turnout for the event was what they had hoped for. They saw a large turnout on Saturday (8/3), but because of the rain on Sunday (8/4) the numbers weren't as good. Organizer Brooks Pettit says that since they have learned so much putting this event together, they now know what to expect for next year....
