Air Force Thunderbird pilot visits Encompass - SnoValley Star | She’s a pilot. She’s a patriot. She’s a proud aunt.  Capt. Kristin Hubbard, of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds squadron, visited Encompass Preschool and Daycare in North Bend Nov. 23.  Although her blond hair was visible from all angles, she walked into the Encompass building wearing many hats.  She wore her flight suit, on which her name and rank are embroidered. She wore an American flag on her right sleeve. And she wore onlookers down, chasing her nephews up and down the hallways....

Pilots ready to dazzle - NST.COM | BUTTERWORTH: THE Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) is satisfied with its preparations for the aerial exhibition component of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (Lima) 2011, which will take place next week.  Air operations commander Lt Gen Datuk Seri Ackbal Abdul Samad said he was satisfied with the performance of the pilots.  "We are happy with the preparations and the pilots have shown a high standard,"  Ackbal said after viewing the final preparations at the Butterworth airbase here yesterday....

Funeral for Red Arrows pilot Flt Lt Sean Cunningham - BBC | Hundreds of people are at Coventry Cathedral for the funeral of Red Arrows pilot Flt Lt Sean Cunningham.  Flt Lt Cunningham, 35, was killed when he was ejected from his Hawk T1 aircraft while on the runway at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire on 8 November.  An independent inquiry is being carried out to establish the circumstances of the incident....
