Dayton, Ohio – The Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger announced today the 2011 show will be held on July 23rd and 24th. These dates were selected to facilitate the appearance of top military attractions. 2011 marks the 38th consecutive year for the show held annually at the Dayton International
Airport.
“We have been working very hard on development of the 2011 program,” stated Michael Emoff, Chairman of the USATS Board of Trustees, producers of the event. “We’re excited about the prospects for next year’s show and will announce details on the lineup later this year. There is no doubt it will be another awesome event showcasing the very best in aviation and our community,” he added.
Founded in 1975, the Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger is one of America’s premier air shows. The Air Show showcases world-class aerobatic champions, military jet demonstrations and entertainment for the whole family celebrating Dayton’s aviation heritage as home of the Wright Brothers, National Museum of the US Air Force and Wright Patterson AFB. The show is estimated to have a five million dollar positive economic impact annually on the Greater Dayton Area economy.
