Happy Fall! As the leaves come tumbling down the grass runway, it makes for a beautiful sight to watch the museum's vintage planes in flight. There are several opportunities to enjoy the view, experience the sights and sounds of the countryside and take in the activities at the Military Aviation Museum. Saturday, October 30th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. The Military Aviation Museum is pleased to announce: A presentation featuring MajGen Donald Strait, USAF (Ret) General Strait flew over 100 combat missions in P-47s and P-51s during WWII and has 13.5 confirmed victories! The event includes a flight demonstration by the Military Aviation Museum’s P-51D “Double Trouble II”! Museum tickets may be purchased for $10.00 and include admission to this special event. Free admission to Museum Members. NOVEMBER 26, 27 & 28, 2010 9am-5pm 26th and 27th - 9am-3pm, 28th The Military Aviation Museum in association with The Tidewater Division of the National Model Railroad Association is pleased to announce its second annual model train show! Module Groups Displaying: Tidewater O Gauge Association, South Hampton Roads N-Trak Club, Atlantic Coast S Gauge, Large Gauge, Great Lakes & Southeast-HO Scale. Santa will be flying in on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th – meet and greet for kids of all ages with Santa at 1:00! Marines will be collecting donations for “Toys for Tots”.
