Guest Speaker was Willie Sage who provided a captivating and entertaining expose on strip flying including waterborne-to-beach landings etc. He then offered up for auction, a Strip/Mountain Flying Training package, including travel to and from Blenheim, with the proceeds going towards our upcoming 80th Jubilee Scholarship promotion (more on that soon). Chris Hoffman topped the bidding but, because he is presently focusing on his CPL, on-sold the package, worth $2000, to Rodney Maas. Fantastic effort by all who entered into the auction with gusto.
