Rocky Mountain Airshow debuts live on-board HD video; plans rocket launch - General Aviation News | DENVER — The Rocky Mountain Airshow, held Aug. 16-18 at Rocky Mountain Metro Airport (BJC), will debut live on board aircraft HD video coverage that will be displayed o giant HD LED Screens. Spectators will see the aerobatics, performer interviews and get the feeling of being up with or inside the aircraft all weekend long. Another first for the airshow, and one that will create airshow history, is the debut of the first civilian airshow sanctioned by the FAA to have a high power sport rocket launch, according to organizers....

Air Force aerobatic team puts on show to celebrate 60th anniversary - China Post | The base was opened to the public yesterday for the celebration of the anniversary and of Air Force Day, which falls officially on Aug. 14. The team's seven AT-3 jet trainers conducted a series of spectacular aerial stunts after soaring through the air in formation and creating multicolored smoke ribbons in the sky, thrilling the nearly 10,000 military fans in attendance. RAF stages fun day to thank families of personnel - Henley Standard | ABOUT 10,000 people attended a families day at RAF Benson. There were aerial displays during the afternoon from the Thales Wildcat Aerobatic Display Team, the Blades, BBMF Spitfire and RAF Falcons as well as rotary displays by the Merlin, Sea King and Chinook helicopters.
