Sport Air Racing League Kicks off 2011 Season

PFLUGERVILLE, TX – April 14, 2001 – The Sport Air Racing League has kicked off their 2011 season with the Taylor 150 at the Taylor, TX airport (T74).  20 Racers gathered under low clouds and stout winds to begin accumulating points toward a season championship.  LiveAirShowTV was on hand for this first race, and has now posted a complete preview of the 2011 season.  “In less than two years of covering this league, I’ve seen it grow and taken on a momentum of its own”, says LiveAirShowTV President Jeff Lee.  “All pilots love to fly any chance they get.  When you can introduce a level of competition in a sanctioned event, what more could you ask for.”

The season has twenty races this year, more than ever, and LiveAirShowTV’s story outlines the schedule and location of each race.  Pilots from all across the country will have access to at least one race they could compete in, and several that would only require a short cross-country flight to get to.

LiveAirShowTV is also ramping up for coverage of many air show and aviation events during the 2011 season.  We were on hand for the Corpus Christi NAS air show.  A wrap up of that event will be posted soon.  We will continue to post features from interviews conducted toward the end of the 2010 season.  Please continue to support Kyle & Amanda Franklin as they recover from their injuries sustained in March 2011.  Information on how to help is contained in the video on our home page.

Look for announcements on our LIVE broadcasts as they develop.
